Antioch Unified School Districts Delta Dental PPO plan gives you the freedom to choose your own dentist and receive coverage from in-network and out-of-network providers. The Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan is made up of general dentists and specialists who have agreed to provide dental care at discounted fees. If you go to a dentist who participates in the PPO, you qualify for in-network coverage and benefit from discounted rates. The Delta Dental Premier network provides more cost savings features and is the next best option when you cannot find a PPO dentist. You will have greater out of pocket expenses using the Premier network than a PPO provider. Out of Network dentist have no fee agreements with Delta Dental, so you will usually have the highest out-of-pocket costs when you visit a non-Delta dentist. You are responsible for the difference between what Delta Dental pays and the dentist’s fee.
You can find a participating provider at Delta Dental website or by calling their Customer Service Department at (866) 499-3001.
