Staff Development Day Agenda and Information

Credentialed Staff

Teachers will report to their school campuses for a full day of Staff Development with their own staff on January 7th with the exceptions of the groups listed below.

Dr. Daman Harris will work with AUSD educators who were not in attendance at the previous sessions at Lone Tree Golf Course due to attending break out trainings/groups at Black Diamond Middle School that were specific to their content and job classification needs. Educators listed below will join their staff at their school sites when they are not at Lone Tree Golf Course.

TK Teachers and Elementary Music Teachers ONLY: You will have specific sessions in the afternoon and will not return to your school sites. Information will be sent directly to you regarding the location and topic for your afternoon session.

Session #1 at Lone Tree Golf Course-Elementary Teachers

7:45-8:15am: Breakfast provided

8:15-11:00am: Dr. Daman Harris-Keynote

Elementary Cohort includes the following teachers:

• Elementary counselors

• TK Teachers

• Elementary music teachers

• Elementary PE teachers

• Elementary computer teachers

• Elementary special education teachers

11:00-12:00pm: Elementary teachers have lunch on their own and travel back to school sites

Session #2 at Lone Tree Golf Course-Secondary Teachers

7:45-11:30am: Secondary teachers at their own school sites

11:30-12:00pm: Lunch provided

12:00-2:45pm: Dr. Daman Harris-Keynote

Secondary Cohort includes the following teachers:

• Secondary counselors

• Secondary music teachers

• Secondary PE teachers

• Secondary special education teachers

Classified Staff

District SELPA Paraeducator Training and CPR certification sessions:

Para 1’s and 111’s BDMS Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: CPR Training Session (renewal CPR Certification Only, New CPR Certification will need to start the day at the District Office, 510 G St, Antioch)

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch

• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: SELPA Training Session

Para II’s BDMS Schedule:

• 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: SELPA Training Session

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch

• 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: CPR Training Session (renewal CPR Certification Only, New CPR Certification will need to travel to the District Office, 510 G St, Antioch)

District Office Schedule 510 G St, Antioch (for New CPR Certifications ONLY):

• 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Para I’s and III’s  CPR Training Session

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch

• 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Para II’s CPR Training Session

Please note that the SSB sessions will run longer to accommodate new certifications, and all who should attend received an email with thier assigned location and time and please make sure to rsvp to the link that was on that email.
