History and Social Sciences Network
HSS Network Meeting Dates
The Social Science Network meets several times a year at the Contra Costa County Office of Education. Social Science educators, instructional coaches, and administration from around the county work collaboratively to provide resources and pedagogy to social science teachers to increase student engagement and civic mindedness. A focus has been on implementing historical thinking skills, establishing best practices for the adoption of new curriculum and the implementation of Ethnic Studies curricula and courses.
**This year's H/SS Network focus is the Ethnic Studies Course and Curriculum Development.
