NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE ANTIOCH UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT of Contra Costa County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, is requesting sealed RFP's for:

RFP No. 24-25-03 Search Firm Services for the Position of District Superintendent and/or Consultation Services to Assist the Board of Trustees with Goal Development

The Request for Qualifications and Proposals may be downloaded from the District’s website at: www.antiochschools.net, beginning Friday, November 22, 2024. Antioch Unified School District (“District”) is a.) inviting interested search firms to demonstrate their ability to provide assistance with the identification and recruitment of candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools and/or b.) inviting consultation forms to demonstrate their ability to provide consultative assistance to the Board of Trustees in the area of goal development.

Interested firms are invited to submit six (6) copies in a 3-ring binder and one (1) digital copy on a readable device such as a flash drive, of your firm’s qualifications. Please provide any and all materials in a sealed envelope addressed and delivered no later than 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2024, to the following address:

The sealed envelope shall be marked on the outside lower left corner with the words “Search Firm/Consultative Services RFP 24-25-03”. It is the proposer’s sole responsibility to ensure that their information is received prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of qualifications and proposals. No corrected or resubmitted qualifications and proposals will be accepted after the deadline.

This Request for Qualifications and Proposals does not commit the Antioch Unified School District to award a contract or pay any costs incurred in the preparation of a response to this request. The District reserves the right to accept all, or part of any information received or to cancel in part or in its entirety their RFP. The District further reserves the right to accept the qualifications that it considers to be in the best interest of the District.

All requirements must be addressed in your qualifications and proposals. Non-responsive information will not be considered. All information received whether selected or rejected, shall become the property of the District.
