Chemistry is the study of matter and how it interacts with the world. Chemistry discussions and experiments deal with the nature and composition of matter together with the laws governing their relationships. Course content: units of matter, equations, study of common elements, acids, bases, salts, organic chemistry, and qualitative and quantitative analysis. Laboratory work is a key component of this course to reinforce the understanding of chemical principles.
