Welcome to STUDY SKILLS CLASS and SUPPORT FACILITATION - Room 905!
I have been a dedicated teacher since 1996, with 24 years of experience teaching science in middle and high school, in addition to my role as a study skills class instructor. My commitment lies in supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development, and I take immense pride in helping students reach their full potential.
My role is to support students in their academic, social, and emotional development. I have a strong passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
I create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for each student, tailoring instruction to their unique needs and abilities. I collaborate with other educators and professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive support to our students.
I also provide accommodations and modifications to help our students access the curriculum and succeed academically. These may include providing visual aids, using assistive technology, or adjusting the pace and level of instruction to meet the student's learning style.
Above all, as a special education teacher, I work to build strong relationships with my students and their families, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
