I have been teaching for 18 years here in Antioch, but first grade is by far my favorite! It is a lot of hard work and requires a lot of effort from these little ones, but the rewards are worth it because they become eager readers and marvelous mathematicians by the end of the year.
Remember: We can do hard things and mistakes are proof that you are trying! You've got this!
