Spring has finally arrived, bringing with it allergy season and warmer weather. As a reminder, students are not permitted to carry any medication with them, including over-the-counter medicines such as allergy pills, eye drops, or cough medication. We request that any medication be administered at home before the start of school. If you would like your child to have medication available at school, please contact the office for our procedures.

April Activities at MNO Grant.


The Ujima GIRL Project seeks to increase the representation of African American/Black girls and women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility) Girls in Robotics Leadership (GIRL) Project provides STEM learning opportunities where African American/Black girls collaborate to address community and global challenges. Through hands-on coding and robotics, cultural activities, and community-building, Ujima empowers participants to become inspirational leaders by establishing STEM clubs in their schools and communities.


This program is for incoming 6th, 7th and 8th-grade students. The program will focus on hands on math, science, career exploration, and physical fitness.
