Back to School Night~ Thursday, August 29th 5:30 - 7:15pm
Please be prompt to your child's classes as teacher presentations will start at the time listed on the schedule (attached). This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the teachers & ask general questions related to the class, however we have limited time.
Reminder, August 30th is a minimum day with Period 6 ending at 12:30. Lunch will be available for those that wish to stay until 1:00 pm.

Students will be allowed to wear cultural or religious regalia. While this does not align w/DLMHS graduation tradition, we have been directed to follow AB 1248.
In 2018, the State Legislature passed AB 1248 adding Ed. Code section 35183.1. The code allows students to wear cultural or religious regalia at graduation
IMPORTANT: The school does not have any power, which means we have no ability to flush toilets. We are CANCELLING the senior sunset event for tonight.
A heat advisory has been issued for Antioch, for Wed, Jun 5th and Thurs, Jun 6th, w/temps expected to exceed 100 degrees. The DLMHS graduation practice & ceremony are scheduled on those days. Practice will be moved inside.

We are offering a Pre-AP Path for our current Algebra 1 students to be able to complete AP Calc &/or AP Stats by 12th gr. AUSD is offering the Accelerated Geometry course this summer, a full day of live instruction at AHS & DVHS. Mrs. Narayan will teach this at DVHS. Students ask your ALG 1 teacher if interested.
REMINDER: Today is a MINIMUM Day with ALL students dismissed at 12:30. Lunch will be available for them at 12:30 if they would like to eat school lunch.

Open House Tonight
The AUSD will hold a Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Meeting on Tuesday, 4/16/2024 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Please join us in person at Antioch Middle School Library. Child Care and Refreshments will be available. Join us as we analyze goals and actions, and make recommendations for the 2024-2027 LCAP.
Friday, 3/15 Freshman students will have a modified day. They will either be in the AM Session (Health Class during an ODD period) 8:30 - 11:30 or in the PM Session (Health Class during an EVEN period) 12:10 - 3:10. See attached picture
REMINDER: Monday is an EVEN day schedule. Students will attend classes 0, 2, 4, 6, and advisory. School will start and end at the normal time.
Friday has a special schedule for Project Day.

All students who are learning English as a second language will be taking the ELPAC tests on Feb. 6, 7, & 8. This is for students that are in ELD class AND those that have a waiver. Please encourage your student to give their best effort!
