I have been teaching for 18 years in Special Day Classes. I attended San Jose State University for the majority of my bachelor's degree and my credential program. I did attend UC Santa Barbara for 2 years prior to San Jose State University to study Marine Biology. I started teaching in San Jose at the Santa Clara County Office of Education where I taught a kindergarten to third grade class for children with Autism. I moved to Antioch Unified School District in 2008-2009 school year. I have enjoyed working with my students who are kindergarten to second grade at Mno Grant Elementary.
I have an awesome staff in our room. Classroom IA's are Colette McIntyre and Stephanie Carniglia. All of our staff is dedicated to our students and enriching their school experience as well as helping them all reach their IEP goals. We all look forward to working with you and your children.
The best way to reach me during the school day is by email: jenniferbannerman@antiochschools.net. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my niece and nephew (8 and 14 years old) and my 2 dogs. I enjoy scrapbooking, quilting, and reading.
