Parent Involvement Information

Research has shown that parental involvement not only enhances academic performance, but it also has a positive influence on student attitude and behavior. A parent's interest and encouragement in a child's education can affect the child's attitude toward school, classroom conduct, self-esteem, absenteeism, and motivation.  Students with involved parents, regardless of their income or background, are more likely to succeed in school and have fewer behavior problems.  It's never too late to build the foundations for parent-teacher communication in schools.  But the sooner you do, the more equipped your student will be to reach his/her academic potential.

Below are our Title I Parental Involvement policies and our Title I Compacts in both English and Spanish.  Please take the time to review them.
