Welcome to Physical Education I and II!
This is my fifth year at Dozier Libbey Medical High School and my 17th year teaching in the Antioch Unified School District. I taught 5 years at Antioch High School and 7 years at Park Middle School. Prior to teaching in Antioch, I attended college at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse where I majored in Physical Education - Teaching. While attending school at UWL, I played volleyball and received the honor of being named on the All-American Team in 2003. After moving to California and beginning my teaching profession, I spent several years coaching volleyball. My coaching career consisted of coaching the following teams: Los Medanos College Lady Mustangs, Antioch High Girls Varsity, Junior Varsity and Freshmen teams, as well as Park Middle School intramural team.
I am looking forward to working with my students to give them the tools necessary to be lifelong movers.
