Welcome to 7th grade Science. My name is Erich Bartel and I'll be in charge of getting your students excited about the process of scientific inquiry! In this year's class, students will take part in conducting experiments, simulations, and using microscopes to explore the world around them. It is my hope that through engaging discourse, a positive environment, and rigorous expectations, your student will become a lifelong learner of, and advocate for, science!
I am originally from Southern California where I attended Cal State San Bernadino. In addition to my teaching credential in foundational science I hold a bachelor's in European History. In my free time I can be found outdoors exploring, hiking and fishing throughout the Bay area and beyond. It is my hope that I will inspire my students to get out and explore their world as well.
