As we close out the quarter, we will be cancelling our After School Homework Club and Tutoring Sessions today ( Thursday October 3rd).
However, we would like to remind you that today is also our family reading intervention night. RSVP link can be found on our website.
Parent Teacher Conference Week:
The staff at BDMS would like to invite all parents and guardians that would like to meet to discuss their student's progress. Conferences will be held from Monday September 23 to Friday September 27th from 1:15 PM to 3:00PM; appointments are not required.
Conference Process:
All teachers will be stationed in the cafeteria allowing parents and guardians to rotate to the teacher's that they need to talk to most.
Appointments are not required, but if you are unavailable to meet during our conference week and would like to schedule an alternative date, please contact one of your student's teachers to schedule an alternative date.
Each family will receive a copy of their student's progress report, iReady results, and information regarding the Reading Intervention Night
A station for questions regarding Echo will be available if you are still experiencing any issues or have questions about how to utilize Echo to support your student's academics.

It’s that time again to make sure our students come back to school with the necessary supplies they need to be successful.
This giveaway was founded by my daughter Claryssa when she was in the 6th grade at Black Diamond and now she is a college graduate in a Masters program for Clinical Counseling, and is still planning and organizing this amazing event.
Stuff the Bus is 12 years strong!!! The event will be at Dallas Ranch and will feature the Golden State Warriors Dance Team and so much more.

iReady Diagnostic Testing starts this week! We will be adjusting our class schedule to ensure that students have ample time to work on their diagnostics.
BDMS has partnered with Wellness Together to provide our students and families with important mental health information that will support our students and families as we head into the winter break.
The Mental Health Awareness workshop will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at BDMS. Dinner will be provided from 5:30-6:00 and the workshop will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to bring their students to the workshop.
