Hi! I’m Mrs. Allen and I’m so excited to be your History teacher this year. This my 2nd year teaching at Antioch Middle School. I teach 7th grade History. My Bachelor’s Degree is in Social Science with an emphasis in African American History, earned from San Francisco State University and my teaching credential was earned from California State University, East Bay. Outside of teaching, I love to spend time with my family, cook delicious meals (Mexican is my favorite), and decorate my home, especially during the Fall season.
This year is going to be challenging for all of us, but I hope that my class will be a bright spot in your day. I will try to keep everything very organized for you on TEAMS, Remind, Aeries, and my webpage. I really think it’s going to be a great year.
My favorite thing about teaching is getting to know my students, so I hope that even though we are learning virtually for now, you will do your very best to show me and your classmates all of your amazing qualities. I am excited to see and learn more about your lives and experiences.
